Regardless of our individual athletic abilities, we all had a touch of Packer Pride! "Fight on Fremont" was a tune heard often, and LOUDLY! Remember all the Pep Assemblies and the contests to see which class could sing our school song the loudest?From the coaches to the athletes to the spectators, Fremont Packers were a force to be reckoned with. Records were set not only for FHS, but statewide, and then challenged by the next generation. We had 3 Hall of Famers: Sue Maynard, Discus; Tom Slocum, Cross Country; Jeff Vanderzee, Football. Quite an impressive group of athletes, wouldn't you say?
